Rural IT: Let's Look Beyond Friday Night Lights

Solid internet technology and the expertise to use it have to be priorities of rural leaders now. It's time to get stubborn about supply and entrepreneurial about demand.
Local rural leaders need to push for broadband capacity and the hottest classroom technology available to build demand. Unfortunately, many communities resist change, even as it swamps them. This is bad news. The message is clear: Adapt or wither.
