IREC Releases Renewable Energy Training: Best Practices and Recommended Guidelines

Quality training for the workforce is a critical component to support labor market needs. Workforce education and training requires attention to at least three main components:
* Types of skills, skill sets, knowledge, and abilities
* Types of instructional activities that will promote different skills and skill sets
* Types of institutions that can provide the learning experiences.
The report, a detailed review in eight sections, contains recommended training guidelines, training criteria, assessment tools, task analyses, credentialing programs, and other related resources for renewable energy training programs:
