Sanford trims lead researchers list to four

Sanford Health officials are moving closer to securing a researcher who will lead its efforts to cure Type 1 diabetes.
The Sioux Falls-based health system has narrowed its list of possible candidates for the Todd and Linda Broin Chair of the Sanford Project to four people.
"These are the Kobe Bryants and the Michael Jordans of Type 1 diabetes," said Kelby Krabbenhoft, Sanford's chief executive.
