Plane crash victim, Christopher John Schafer remembered in Missoula – Hydrogen Refueling Station at the Hellgate Wind Turbine site dedicated in his honor.

It was one year ago Saturday that a private airplane flying from Havre, Montana to Washington crashed, killing all three people on board.

Family members and friends gathered in Missoula Saturday to remember Christopher John Schafer, one of the three Havre residents who died in the plane crash.

The other victims were John Brown, and Randall McPherson.

Schafer, 25, was busy working on a business plan to manufacture hydrogen from wind energy in Montana when he died.

Saturday, his colleagues from the University of Montana dedicated the Hydrogren Refueling Station at the Hellgate Wind Turbine site in his honor.
