General Description:

This person is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the Human Resources function. Incumbent must have the ability to recommend and resolve problems or issues, consistent with Company standards, practices, policies, procedures, and government regulations or law. Frequently interacts with managers/supervisors to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters. Coordinates recruitment activities, interviews, and other associated duties. Administers employee benefit programs company-wide. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation. Ensures personnel plans and policies are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations. Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and other issues. Interaction with company personnel requires the ability to gain cooperation of others. Consults with legal counsel as appropriate and/or as directed by the CEO on personnel matters. Performs other HR generalist duties as assigned.
