Boise call center will close this fall, idling 105 workers
| August 31, 2008 |
DHL Express says the shutdown is part of a plan to cut costs. It won't affect pickups and deliveries in the Valley.
By late October, customer service calls to a DHL Express call center in Boise will be routed somewhere else.
One hundred and five employees - 90 customer service-representatives and 15 supervisors and managers - will lose their jobs Oct. 24 as part of the company's restructuring plan announced in May, spokesman Robert Mintz said Friday.
