With shorter days and cooler temperatures on the way — along with forecasts of higher utility rates — the thought of winter electric and natural gas bills is scary.
NorthWestern Energy http://www.northwesternenergy.com/ has a useful tool to devise a plan to contain costs.
The online Calc-U-Pal tallies the estimated costs of appliances and lighting and estimates residential utility costs.
