Bend Venture Conference 2008 Announces Investor Panelists - October 16-17

Seven of the region’s premier venture investors have been selected as panelists for Bend Venture Conference’s fifth annual event on October 16 and 17 in Bend at the Tower Theatre. This distinguished team, representing over a century of experience, will provide expert advice to the presenting companies and give the audience a perspective on the critical factors experienced investors look for when considering the early stage market.

The BVC Investor LLC, established in 2006, will award funds of at least $100,000 to the early stage company voted best positioned for explosive growth and returns. All presenting companies, whether or not from Central Oregon, will be eligible to compete for the award.

Companies seeking seed and early stage funding are encouraged to apply to present at BVC 2008. The application deadline is September 12, 2008.
