The best places to vacation in the world are Bangkok, China, the Galápagos Islands and Triple Creek Ranch http://www.triplecreekranch.com/ south of Darby or so say the readers of the prestigious “Travel and Leisure” magazine http://www.travelandleisure.com/ .
August’s issue is set to hit the newsstands today where subscribers and seasoned travelers have nominated their favorite destinations across the globe and have named Triple Creek Ranch as the top hotel in the continental U.S. and Canada, the No. 4 hotel globally, and the No. 4 hotel among small hotels worldwide.
The magazine’s editor made the announcement on NBC’s Today Show last week and since then, Triple Creek’s marketing manager, Amanda Dunn, said her e-mail box has filled, reservations have increased dramatically and last-minute openings have been filled.
“I’m old-school,” said Ranch Manager Wayne Kilpatrick. “I kept waiting for the phone to ring off the hook, but they sent e-mails instead.”
