Necessity may be the mother of invention, but frustration works pretty well, too.
Just ask Sarah Calhoun, who four years ago was working a fire-restoration project in California, and had to keep stopping her work to hitch up her pants.
This wasn’t the first time she’d gotten antsy about her pants.

Sarah Calhoun is the owner/operator of Red Ants Pants www.redantspants.com in White Sulphur Springs Montana.
She designs, and markets U.S. made “Workpants for Women”. She has a very interesting means of marketing her product. Whether you would call it “Guerrilla Marketing” or “Viral Marketing” she mixes something she calls “House Parties”, a Youtube video http://youtube.com/watch?v=iIwcRKXGhro , a cooperation with Big Sky Brewery, and the fact that she sews the red ants logo onto her pants at different locations that tell the vintage of the product and encourages her customers to keep in contact with her website when they see the pants in public.
Not bad for a 29 year old, now living in White Sulphur Springs.
