Venture capitalists say startup community is in crisis

The National Venture Capital Association said that the nation’s startup community is in a capital crisis as no venture-backed company went public in the second quarter — the first time in three decades that’s happened.
The venture capital trade group also pointed to a recent industry survey in which two-thirds of VCs surveyed said their portfolio companies are less likely to want to enter the public markets today than they were three years ago.
