Q: For over a year, I have been paying a PR firm a monthly retainer to help get publicity for my health food product. My primary goal was to get on "Oprah." The PR agent has told me to "be patient" and that I had a "compelling story that was perfect for Oprah." Now I’m running low on cash but still need publicity. If I fire the PR firm, then I’ll get nothing for all the money I’ve paid. How can I tell if this firm or any other can really get my product on television?
