Married researchers team up in cancer fight - McLaughlin Research Institute

If they had separate labs, it would mean they'd be competing, and that's not a good way to stay married, Copeland said.
The top cancer researchers have spent their careers together. Every paper they've published has been a collaboration, with the two taking turns as the lead author.
Their work is so indistinguishable that when Jenkins was elected to the National Academy of Sciences, a high honor, she turned it down because her husband and research partner wasn't included.
