| June 20, 2008 |
Experience Rugged Wyoming. Discover the New West.
It is our great pleasure to host the Western Governors’ Association Annual Meeting -- June 29-July 1, 2008 at Teton Village near Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Joining the Governors will be the Premiers from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia and special guests journalist Tom Brokaw and Jeff Immelt, CEO of GE.
This year’s meeting promises to be a timely and engaging one, as governors from across the West come together to discuss climate change policy initiatives and adaptive strategies, improving management of our water resources, the future of energy resources and preserving critical wildlife corridors.
Framed by the magnificent Grand Teton Mountains and located on the doorstep of Yellowstone National Park, Jackson Hole is a gathering spot for every type of outdoor activity imaginable: fishing, white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking, golfing, biking, and more. In downtown Jackson, you will also find a wonderful assortment of restaurants and art galleries.
