Electric cars from Eco Auto of Bozeman, Montana pique local interest in Nampa, Idaho

Two years ago, Ron Gompertz practically had to beg people to buy electric cars. Now he sells 20 of the vehicles in a month.

Gompertz’ electric cars brought a buzz to Nampa on Friday as visitors took his mini SUV and pickup truck for test drives. One Nampa man wanted to buy the mini SUV on the spot.
