Two years ago, Ron Gompertz practically had to beg people to buy electric cars. Now he sells 20 of the vehicles in a month.

Gompertz’ electric cars brought a buzz to Nampa on Friday as visitors took his mini SUV and pickup truck for test drives. One Nampa man wanted to buy the mini SUV on the spot.
