Service plays matchmaker for VCs, start-ups - TheFunded

Silicon Valley's business culture is so hectic that "elevator pitch" competitions are staged as a form of speed dating for entrepreneurs and the venture capitalists they want to woo. Even so, both parties complain about kissing too many frogs before finding a prince.
Now comes a new matchmaking service for start-ups and financiers - compliments of a provocative Web site, TheFunded http://www.thefunded.com/ , that is better known for publishing anonymous slams of VCs by name. If TheFunded succeeds in helping start-ups and investors make beautiful money together, fewer VCs will think of it as the skunk in their garden party, as many portray it now.
