Web inventor, Tim Berners-Lee predicts future of online world. Internet could alter ways government, science are shaped

The British scientist who invented the World Wide Web said Wednesday that online social systems could change the way science and even democratic government is conducted.

Tim Berners-Lee http://www.w3.org/People/Berners-Lee/ made the comments as a Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute symposium launched a new academic center devoted to Web science called the Tetherless World Research Constellation.
