Working on a band of angels - Network encourages co-investing by groups backing young firms

Now they need to band together.
The state has 20 angel investing groups, compared with six just three years ago, according to the Wisconsin Angel Network.
That means there are enough groups providing funding, advice and connections to fledgling companies for the angel groups to begin making more investments together, said Joe Kremer, the network's director.
