City Club Missoula - Nonprofit leaders urge investment in entrepreneurs in Missoula

Donations by western Montanans may help future entrepreneurs launch their own ventures, according to officials from two nonprofits.

Dr. Mary Stranahan, founder of the High Stakes Foundation http://www.highstakesfoundation.org/ , and Rosalie Sheehy Cates, executive director of the Montana Community Development Corp. http://www.mtcdc.org/ , elaborated on the issue of “recycling wealth” by investing in local communities during City Club Missoula's http://www.cityclubmissoula.org monthly forum Monday.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP RATES:

Individual:

* Regular $55 * Sustaining $125 * Living Lightly $25

Corporate:

Small Business (5 or fewer employees) $75 + opportunity for any employee to join City Club Missoula at a reduced individual rate of $30.

Larger Business (6 or more employees) $200 + up to 4 employees or board members may attend any forum for the member lunch rate.

Non-profits $75/year + opportunity for any employee to join at a reduced ($30) individual rate.

Sponsorship (not an annual rate): $300 to sponsor a single forum.

Sponsor’s name will be on publicity for that forum, and sponsor will have an opportunity at the beginning of that forum to address the audience. At City Club’s current schedule of one forum per month, the number of sponsors will be limited to 12/year.

The names of larger business corporate members and sponsors will be included in City Club publicity, along with, when possible, links to their websites.
