American dreams - family from India adjusts to life in Montana

Hamilton is a long way from Bangalore, India, but the Rao family welcomes the new adventure in the Bitterroot Valley.
“The air quality is great and all this space,” Rama Rao marveled.
Bangalore, a city of more than 5 million people, has often been called the “Silicon Valley of India” n a hub of software and IT development. It’s busy, congested and requires a 20-mile drive into the countryside to escape dense pollution.
“It was always our long-term plan to educate our children in the United States or Canada,” Vinay Rao said. “Because with an American education, they can work anywhere in the world.”
