Trevor Loy, managing partner of Flywheel Ventures http://www.flywheelventures.com/ , is one of six new members of the National Venture Capital Association's board of directors.
The Association appointed Loy and five other venture capitalists on May 7 to four-year terms at the organization's annual meeting in Santa Clara, Calif. The other incoming board members are from Columbia Capital, InterWest Partners, Canaan Partners, The Vertical Group, and Venrock Associates.

I had the pleasure of spending a bit of time with Trevor at the recent Frontiers 2008 conference in Bozeman. Great guy who's actively looking for exciting startups in Montana and the Inland Northwest. Great to see more A level VC's looking for funding opportunities in MT.
