Boise entrepreneur Pat Large sees opportunity when economic times are tough
| June 5, 2008 |
Where others see economic hard times, Pat Large sees opportunities.
He's bought several distressed companies to explore potential new markets.
Pat Large recently bought Akrion SCP Services, a machine shop in Boise that once was dedicated to building parts for the semiconductor industry, including Boise’s Micron Technology. Large owns 14 companies, many of which were acquired during tough economic times.
A 1973 graduate of Boise State University, Large owns a network of 14 different companies, many of them acquired at bargain prices during tough economic times and expanded to complement his other businesses.
