RightNow Technologies of Bozeman not opening Butte or Great Falls office

An international customer relationship management software provider based in Bozeman recently decided not to open an office in Butte.
RightNow Technologies http://www.rightnow.com/ announced in early March that they were considering a Butte location. The company’s decision hinged on finding qualified workers, but RightNow didn’t receive enough quality applicants for jobs it advertised here, Jim Smitham, executive director of the Butte Local Development Corp., said Thursday.
About 22 people submitted resumes.
“They were hoping for 40-ish or something in that range,” Smitham said. “They just didn’t get it; it wasn’t anything in particular about Butte.” Great Falls, which was also in the running, also did not get the office.
