New program helps E. Idaho students excel

Jaron Leavitt missed two months of school last year. This year, he's missed two days.

Ana Blancas was so withdrawn a year ago, she couldn't look her teachers in the eyes. This year, though, the eighth-grader is an active contributor to classroom discussions.

As a sixth-grader a year ago, Sierra Hegstrom was failing school and bullying her siblings. This year, though, her GPA is above 3.0 and she's eager to help around the house.
