University of Montana nationally recognized by The National Wildlife Federation for transportation options

The National Wildlife Federation http://www.nwf.org/ has given the University of Montana an award for its innovative and effective transit system as part of the Chill Out: Campus Solutions to Global Warming competition.
UM was one of eight schools honored from a nationwide pool of entries.
The award focused on the Associated Students of UM Office of Transportation http://www.umt.edu/asum/ot/ , created in 1999 by a student referendum as the only student-run transit system in the country.
