The Florida Institute for Commercialization of Public Research to Promote Tech Transfer in State.
| April 17, 2008 |
The Florida Institute for Commercialization of Public Research - a one-stop shop to hawk the best of Florida's technology - will be based at the Florida Atlantic University Research & Development Park, officials said Friday.
The center was created by the legislature last year with $900,000 for its first year and a mandate for Enterprise Florida, the state's economic-development arm, to select a location somewhere in South Florida.
