| April 16, 2008 |
As a result of a recent review of the Alumni Association at Montana State University, the Alumni Board of Directors has made several structural changes. One of the changes is to recognize Jaynee Drange Groseth, the Executive Director of Alumni Relations, as the President and CEO of the Alumni Association. As a state employee of the university, Groseth will retain her title as Executive Director of Alumni Relations. For the business she conducts on a national basis and in meeting with colleagues from other institutions, she will carry the new title of President and CEO of the Alumni Association.
Groseth came to MSU in 1975 as part of the Office of Admissions where she assisted with the creation of the Advocats program and New Student Orientation. She earned a bachelor's degree in 1973 and a master's degree in 1991 from MSU. In 1992, Groseth moved to the Office of Alumni Relations and Alumni Association where she was named Executive Director. In this role, she has guided the program to be a lifelong connection for alumni to MSU.
