Missoula Children's Theatre is expanding its programs to Ireland
| April 14, 2008 |
International travel is nothing new for the Missoula Children's Theatre http://www.mctinc.org/ . Teams of adult professionals from the 35-year-old company make overseas forays every year, visiting U.S. military bases and international schools, where they help students put together full-fledged theatrical productions.
Yet, even with that experience under her belt, Terri Elander admits she's diving into new waters with a planned trip to Ireland late this month.
“We've been warned that the accent of the children we'll be working with is very strong,” said Elander, who serves as international and public relations director for MCT. “It'll definitely test us in new ways to work with these students.”
