Exodus from Montana's eastern counties

The latest census figures show a mixed bag of population trends.
While some counties in western Montana are seeing record growth, it's a much different story in eastern Montana.
Over the last seven years more than one-third of Montana's 56 counties saw in increase in population.
Gallatin County, the fastest growing in the state, grew by more than 26% making it the third largest county in Montana.
Flathead County grew by 16% and Ravalli by 12%.
The eastern half of the state saw a continuing loss in population.
