March 30, 2008View for printing

The conference ended. The boards, the slides, were torn down. Economic survey offered to area residents

By Bill Vander Weele

Sidney Herald

The Richland Economic Development hopes the public is interested in providing its input for the area's economic future.

Leslie Messer, executive director for Richland Economic Development, says the idea of a survey came about when Dave Reetz, developer in Powell, Wyo., visited Sidney in February. Reetz served as the keynote speaker for the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture banquet. "One of his suggestions was to get a pulse of the community for what we need," Messer said.

Individuals can answer the questions for the survey by logging on to http://www.richlandeconomicdevelopment.com and click on 2008 survey.
