$79,073 to $87,859, annually, DOQ. Performs professional work as a department head, administering and supervising the finance functions for the County of Missoula, including budget development & administration, asset & debt management, accounting, investments, audits, payroll & purchasing. Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting.
Master's degree in accounting, financial management, business administration, public administration or related field desired. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) preferred. Requires five years of progressively responsible experience at a management level in governmental accounting, finance and payroll administration. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
