“We hope to find a workforce that is generally interested in helping us get the job done.”
A railcar maintenance company will bring new jobs, train traffic and economic opportunity to town in April.
“It’s a beautiful area of the country and there is a lot of opportunity within the area as far as rail repairs,” said Sam Anderson, an official of The Andersons Inc. http://www.andersonsinc.com/ , a diversified agricultural company. “We hope to find a workforce that is generally interested in helping us get the job done.” The Ohio-based, publicly traded company is coming to Anaconda through a contract with the Butte, Anaconda & Pacific Railway, which is owned by Patriot Rail Corp. The company will store and maintain cars on the railroad’s property, including its historic roundhouse.
