Butte startup Ensi-Med disputes wage claims
| March 21, 2008 |
Ensi-Med http://www.ensi-med.com , a telemedicine start-up company, is asking Butte district court to dismiss $170,000 in unpaid wage claims the state Department of Labor and Industry ordered it to pay.
According to documents filed Monday, Ensi-Med wants the wage claims from four former employees reviewed because it believes the Department of Labor and Industry Hearings Bureau in Helena overstepped its authority. The employees originally filed complaints with the department’s Wage and Hour unit last year; all together nine employees have complained.
