The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival http://www.bigskyfilmfest.org is now accepting applications for the position of Festival Director. The job involves planning, promoting, and facilitating the annual event in February, coordinating sponsorships, grant writing and other fundraising activities, supervising volunteers and temporary staff, and handling festival administration. Applicants must be available to begin work in Missoula, Montana no later than August 1, 2008.
This is a full-time, year-round position. Excellent communication and organizational skills, knowledge of the documentary film and video industry, and demonstrated fundraising ability required. Salary $30k (+ benefits) depending on experience, with annual raises dependent upon fundraising success.
