The DeArmond Mill will close down in about 60 days, Stimson Lumber announced Tuesday.
The mill employs about 60 people, and will close when DeArmond runs out of logs and inventory -- roughly 60 days, said Jeff Webber, vice president of manufacturing for Stimson.

Stimson to close: Workers at lumber mill given 60-day notices
After 15 years running the shovel in the log yard, Gary Tobol was resigned to Tuesday's announcement of an indefinite closure of Stimson Lumber Co.'s mill in Bonner.
He's worked lumber for 40 years, from Anaconda to Bonner, and ridden out the tumult in the timber industry.
