Magic Valley is already world renowned as a mecca for large dairies.
Now, planners of a proposed $37 million dairy research center are hoping the valley becomes known for solutions to industry-plaguing environmental problems.
Organizers have narrowed their search for the Idaho Center for Livestock and Environmental Studies, an unprecedented, nearly 4,000-animal confined feeding operation and research complex, to a 20-mile circle around the College of Southern Idaho.
