Start-up firm, Ensi-Med still trying to pay wages in Butte
| March 15, 2008 |
Ensi-Med http://www.ensi-med.com/, a telemedicine start-up company in Butte, is still working to pay employee wages eight months after four workers filed complaints with a state enforcement agency.
Now, nine workers have filed with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry Wage and Hour Unit in Helena, saying their salaries haven’t been paid.
“We’re trying everything we can,” said Amy Smith, a compliance specialist.
It’s not clear if any complaints are from current employees.
