Bozeman-based Telecommunications Contracting Services, Inc. Accelerates in Record Time

March 11, 2008View for printing

In what amounts to “zero to sixty in 6.9 seconds,” Telecommunications Contracting Services, Inc. http://tcsmontana.com/ has grown from zero to 1.2 million customers in just six years, and is poised to soon be the largest enterprise of its kind in Montana. But this isn’t a story of Mom and Pop selling out. Susan and Mark Sullivan started the business in a basement and, along with Vice Presidents Steve Brewster and Steve White, have determined to keep it a local endeavor. The group, which currently consists of eight technicians (three of whom are also owners) sells, installs and services business phone systems. Products include key systems and PBX lines (they’re still around?), as well as voicemail and overhead paging systems. The company excels in cutting edge technologies like fiber optics, voice-over IP and ‘Smart Offices’.

The State of Montana and the City of Bozeman are clients, as are Bozeman Deaconess Hospital, Bozeman School District #7, the Community Food Coop, Rosauers grocery and First Interstate Bank. And these are just some of over 900 very satisfied customers, most of whom are located within the borders of Gallatin Valley, West Yellowstone, Three Forks and Livingston. “We are so proud of our staff,” emotes Susan Sullivan.“They’re just really great people.”
