TIFID deal: SeaCast seeks lease clarity on Butte building
| March 11, 2008 |
The empty steel building west of Butte waiting to house SeaCast http://www.seacast.com/ will stay vacant a little longer as long-term ownership details are clarified.
Last week, Butte-Silver Bow issued a developer’s packet, normally used to unload rundown properties for rehabilitation, for the 57,600-square-foot new structure in the Port of Montana-Business Development District, a tax increment financing industrial district west of town.
The packet was issued after SeaCast, a titanium precision parts casting company, raised questions about ownership of the building, Community Development Director Karen Byrnes said.
