Grassroots & Groundwork 2008 scholarships

March 7, 2008View for printing

Applications are now being accepted for Grassroots & Groundwork 2008 scholarships. Two types of scholarships are available:

(1) up to $300 to cover your conference registration fee, and

(2) up to half of your estimated travel expenses.

If you are from a community of 50,000 or fewer residents, a tribal reservation, or a nonprofit with an organization or program budget of less than $500,000 annually, you may be eligible for one or both scholarships. Your odds of receiving a scholarship are better if you apply early, as scholarships are awarded to eligible applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until May 9, 2008, or until all funds have been distributed. Applications are being handled by the National Rural Funders Collaborative.

For scholarship information and application guidelines, visit http://www.grassrootsandgroundwork.org.
