Montana Conference explores meth's impact
| March 4, 2008 |
A Colorado drug task force was about to bust a methamphetamine lab when they saw a 4-year-old boy in a skeleton costume.
The boy, Romeo, was looking out the door of the home at 4 a.m. because he didn’t want to miss a school Halloween party.
His mom had been passed out — crashed after a meth binge — for days. Romeo did not know where his bus stop was and was waiting for the school bus to pass by.
When later interviewed by investigators, Romeo told them he knew why they were there — his parents cooked drugs, but told him they were making “oil.”
