Danish wind energy firm Vestas Wind Systems brings new factory for big blades to Windsor, Colorado - could boost eco-energy

A wind-energy factory that opens this week in Windsor could be the start of something big for Colorado's touted "new-energy economy."
Wind turbines in Colorado are becoming as common as an afternoon breeze, but until now, the state has lacked a manufacturing presence.
That will change with the scheduled opening Wednesday of a plant in Windsor where Danish wind energy firm Vestas Wind Systems will build the enormous blades that capture wind for conversion to electricity.
