Seven Montana towns hit by airline's demise

Big Sky Airlines announced it will stop operating flights on March 8, leaving seven Central and Eastern Montana cities in the lurch for air service until July.
The Billings-based company is contracted to provide Essential Air Service, receiving federal subsidies to connect Havre, Glasgow, Lewistown, Wolf Point, Glendive, Sidney and Miles City to Billings and Helena.
