T-Mobile to offer local service with unlimited calling

T-Mobile USA Inc. of Bellevue is set to begin testing Thursday a wireless program to coax people into giving up their land-line service at home, while retaining their home phone numbers and current touch-tone phones.
The program, called T-Mobile HotSpot @Home Talk Forever Home Phone, allows unlimited phone calls within the U.S. for $10 a month. It offers call waiting, caller ID, voice mail and other features associated with land lines, the company said.
