The Big Sky Economic Development Authority drops lobbyists
February 18, 2008 /
The Big Sky Economic Development Authority’s Board of Commissioners agreed Friday to terminate its agreement with a Washington, D.C., lobbying firm, hoping to save about $39,000 per year.
Big Sky EDA http://bigskyeda.org/ , a county-funded economic development agency, had used the firm of Jamison and Sullivan since at least 2005, sharing the cost with Montana State University Billings. Cy Jamison, a Ryegate native and a former state director for the Bureau of Land Management, is a principal in the firm.
