If Marie Curie could do it, so can you.
And you don't have to be a geek doing it.
That's the message local women who work in the sciences hope to impart to girls during the free "Chicks in Science" program Saturday at Montana State University Billings http://www.msubillings.edu/ .
"It's a lot easier to do things now, for women, than it was at (Curie's) time," said biologist Tasneem Khaleel, who is the dean of MSU Billings' College of Arts and Sciences and will be a featured speaker at the event. "If they could do it, why do our youngsters feel threatened?"
