Ammunition company, A-Square, backs out of Butte project

A Kentucky-based ammunition maker is calling off a Butte project. However a local development official says the Mining City has 24 economic projects in the works, with businesses looking to open warehouse distribution facilities and small manufacturing companies.
Butte Local Development Corporation's http://www.buttemontana.org/ Jim Smitham will present a report on economic activities between July and December last year to Council members Wednesday evening. Smitham says new businesses are eyeing the Mining City as a future home for their operations with four possible warehouse distribution projects.
