Speaker discusses process of improving Sidney Montana's downtown

"The importance of our downtown can't be underestimated, especially in rural communities," Reetz said. "It's important what we think of ourselves and want others to think of us, too."
Featured speaker David Reetz told the audience at the Sidney Chamber banquet Monday that downtown renewal needs to come from the heart.
Reetz has been president of the Powell Valley Economic Development Alliance since 1990 and was co-author of the application for the city's successful bid for All America City in 1994. The Powell downtown project has been held up as a national model for success in a rural community.
