Feedback on Helena, Montana branding plan sought
| February 10, 2008 |
Should Helena, as a consultant suggests, fashion itself as “The West’s Learning Center for the Arts?” If so, where should that effort start? And if not, which direction should the city and area organizations turn in order to draw additional visitors and their pocketbooks?
Those questions will all be addressed in a community meeting Wednesday night, as Advantage Helena, a group of more than a dozen leaders from across the community, asks for feedback on the suggested brand that’s been proposed as cornerstone to the city’s marketing effort.
“We’re at the point in the (branding) process where we need to gather community feedback, so that’s what we’re trying to do,” said Advantage Helena Chairman Matt Cohn. “We will present an outline of where we’ve been, where we are, why we think this is an interesting idea, and find out what the community thinks.”
