Montana home-based child care ranks low

A national report http://www.naccrra.org/policy/recent ... _report.php gives Montana low marks on the state of home-based child care businesses, but a state official says the report is unfair and inaccurate.
The report by the National Association of Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies http://www.naccrra.org/ ranks Montana 40th out of 50 states in protections it provides to children in home-based day-care settings.
Linda K. Smith, the group's executive director, said Montana does not do enough to inspect and regulate home child-care providers.
